1. What is a PDA?
A PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) is a hand-held computer.

2. What is an SD card?
An SD (Secure Digital) card is a device used to store digital data.

3. How do I install my program?
When you insert the SD card into your PDA the program should auto-install. If this does not happen follow these steps:
Start > Programs > File Explorer > Storage Card > click on the icon of the program you wish to install.
Please install the program onto your device.

4. How do I uninstall my program?
Follow these steps:
Start > Settings > tap on the System tab > Add or Remove Programs > select the program you wish to remove > Remove.

5. How much memory does my program need to run?
All our eBooks require at least 100MB on the SD card and 11MB on your PDA to run properly.
Digi-Nav requires at least 100MB on the card and 20MB on your PDA to run properly.

6. What are the system requirements for my program?
Our software will work on touchscreen devices running:
  • Pocket PC (2003) Version 4.20, although the sound
    on some of the newer programs will not work
  • Windows Mobile 2003/SE for Pocket PC
  • Windows Mobile 2003/SE for Pocket PC Phone Edition
  • Windows Mobile 5 for Pocket PC
  • Windows Mobile 5 for Pocket PC Phone Edition
  • Windows Mobile 6 Classic
  • WIndows Mobile 6 Professional/Premium
Our software will not work on Smartphone devices (non touchscreen devices) such as:
  • Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphone
  • Windows Mobile 5 for Smartphone
  • Windows Mobile 6 Standard
  • Other Cellphones eg. Nokia, Motorola...
To find out the version of Windows on your device: Tap Start > Settings > System > About

7. How do I soft-reset my PDA?
At the bottom of your PDA you will see a pinhead-sized hole. By pushing it with your stylus you will soft-reset your machine.

8. My program does not start or has given an error message.
Firstly, soft-reset your device - if this does not help then uninstall and re-install the program. If the program still does not start, check that you have enough program memory available.

9. I get an error message saying "This application requires a newer version of the Microsoft Compact Framework..."
Where do I get a newer version of the Compact Framework?

The latest version of the Compact Framework is normally on your memory card in a folder called CF. Run the appropriate file for your device:
Pocket PC 2003 - NETCFv2.ppc.armv4
Windows Mobile 5 - NETCFv2.wm.armv4i
